On our way to this evenings layover on Goat Island, Port Bolivar, Texas, we happened by this sign on Galveston Bay, Texas City, Texas. To me, this is the legacy being left by our greedy, fossil fuel, over-consuming generation. Don't eat the fish. Don't eat the crabs. And by all means, NO SWIMMING unless you happen to have a spare hazmat suit handy. Why aren't the rules and regulations being enforced that would put an end to this polluting of our waters? Could it be the cozy relationship between the politicians and lobbyists? Looks to me that we have a clear case of the "Fox Guarding The Henhouse." So it goes.
