Another Day At The Fort.

Fort Pickens is on Santa Rosa Island just south of Pensacola, Florida.  The rain was on and off all day but we strolled the 68 degree beach anyway, despite the tornado watch.  A shrouding mist and crashing surf was too exciting to leave unattended.

We walked the beach, dodging thousands of blue, pink and white jelly-fish corpses tossed on the beach by the high wind and waves.

The Ouroboros fish eating his own tail.  No matter how hard we try, mortality wins in the end.  So it goes.

Hurricane Dennis made landfall in July 2005, took 14 lives and left denuded trees along the beach that stand today as it's memorial.
