Here at the Spanish Main RV Resort in Thonotosassa, (Ta no ta sassa ) FL., at the corner of Long John Silver and Captain Kid, the parade of golf carts and gaily lit 12 volt blinky lights pass by while I sit and click the shutter. This is the first day of celebration for snowbirds and locals commemorating the 12 days of Christmas in grand Florida style. “Who needs snow,” I hear one shout, and another sings, “Let it no-snow, Let it no-snow.” The last cart carries the merriment elixir in a 10 gallon plastic jug. The driver speeds up from time to time, racing forward to refill outstretch red plastic cups through a plastic hose.
After leaving Jill and Scoop's place in Crystal River (Just as Scoop said would happen.) we got blasted with bumper to bumper, horn honking, everyone in a hurry, traffic. It seems to be one giant urban sprawl from the Gulf to the Atlantic. Where did the blue roads and back country life go? Thanks again, Scoop and Jill. You calmed and prepared us for the upcoming storm.....See you in a couple of weeks.
Tethers....One line in, one line out.
The good, the bad and the necessary.
