TRANSIENT RV PARK

Ozona, TX
Circle Bar RV Park

We got a late start in our southerly travels after having to swing back north into San Angelo to find a Walmart.  There wasn't any decent shopping for a couple of hundred miles in the direction we wanted to go.  After looking at all possible places to dock for the evening we chose, (we were limited to one) this place, an almost exclusively home to transient families of oil field workers.

I stepped out of the rig to hook up our electric tether and received a not so friendly hello from this club footed ankle-biter.  He bounced around on three feet, yapping at my heels, generally just annoying me.  Nothing really vicious about his actions, he just wanted to let me know he was the big dog on the block.

His buddy, Lil' Blackie, stayed busy trying to dig a goathead picker out of his foot.

Bare bones, no scenery living.

Mobil suburb dwelling in Ozona.

A cold front is moving in from the north and west, time to make plans to outrun the pipe freezing temps,  head into the southern most part of Texas and watch the cold front slide north of us.  Big Bend looks like the nearest and safest hideout.
