OH MY, FIRST SNOW

No laundry on the line today.

Fence

Point me south, please.

Heavy wet snow.

De Soto a little too far north.

Underside of a White Pine.

Poplar

Long lens into falling snow.

Our first snow of any consequence here in Iron River, MI.  Nine inches of wet snow brought down branches, closed a few schools and aided vehicles in finding their way to the ditch.  Electricity was knocked out for four hours and oil lamps were lit.

Today, Monday the 14th of November Jackie and I are in a motel waiting for the Hilltop RV Sales and Service to open.  Our appointment for repair is at nine this           morning.  We're here because the manufacturer, Forrest River of Elkhart, IN. installed a high pressure propane hose incorrectly when the rig was built.

For the past two years of traveling around the country we have been sitting in a potential bomb.  I discovered a cracked hose during routine maintenance just last week and today, after wrestling with the manufacturer, the problem will hopefully be resolved.

Should any other Coachman Class C owners, with slideout,  be reading this, check the propane hose that supplies your cook stove.  Ours had a stress break in it after about 100 slide-in, slide-out's.  If you have any questions, call the manufacturer Forrest River immediatly.

It's almost time to go for the repair/fix, return home and then begin our winter sojourn.
